Polypropylene / PP

Polypropylene (PP) also known as polypropene, is an economical material used in a wide variety of applications, such as, packaging, textiles, stationary, reusable containers and many more. Its combination of physical, chemical, mechanical thermal and electrical properties are not found in any other thermoplastic.

Though it has lower impact strength, the superiority of its working temperature and tensile ability to low or high density polyethylene, give excellent resistance to organic solvents, degreasing agents and electrolytic attack. Even light in weight, PP is tough and possesses many outstanding properties including: resistance to staining, heat, and has a low moisture absorption rate. Polypropylene (PP) is ideal for the transfer of hot liquids or gases.
