Toll Pelletizing/Compounding
Bay Polymer has a large capacity of machines to offer you the best in toll re-pelletization services. Your product will be clean and consistent in either strand-cut or water-ring pellet configuration. We have invested heavily into upgrading and maintaining our equipment designs because we know it matters to your process and quality. We can save you money and turn your scrap into a product that you can re-use.
Custom Blending:
Blending service includes mixing capabilities that permit large batch blends with melt flow or impact modifiers. Although we have many standard blends, all customers have different interests in what properties are important to their process. Bay Polymer can properly blend additives and color to achieve the specifications most important to you.
Metals and Fines Removal
Metal and fine contamination is a problem for plastic processors. Bay Polymer Corp has a system that can clean up debris from plastic scrap through metal detection and size reduction. You would be surprised that even the cleanest materials have metals and fines that get cleaned out of our system. This is an important step to making material clean for you.
Grinding:
Are you interested in having your scrap ground? Bay Polymer can provide toll grinding that includes metal and fine removal and production packaging. We have a variety of screen options for size reduction. We have partnered with many companies who are only interested in having their material ground shipped. This is a fit especially when it is not cost effective to ship scrap plastic long distance.
Foam & Film Densification:
Material in the foam and film form doesn’t have the weight needed to run back into a product. With Bay Polymer foam and film densification process this material can be turned into a heavy and dry material that can be used for processing.
On Site Bin & Trailer Service:
We can provide on-site bins or trailers with regularly scheduled pickups customized to fit your interest. Whatever it takes to work with your space and keep your factory or yard clean- Bay Polymer can do it.
Material Lab Testing:
Do you want to be sure of some of the major properties of the material you are buying? Bay Polymer uses an onsite laboratory to check and maintain important plastic material specifications. This ensures that you get material that matches the properties you wanted for smooth manufacturing at your factory.
Certification of Destruction
Our destruction service includes complete and certified destruction of qualified plastic products which need to be permanently removed from the market. We can provide complete reporting of destroyed product. The plastic materials that are recovered after destruction can often be purchased by our company. We offer options such as witnessed destruction available on request.
